Our history was silence birthing mayhem;
We have been around for centuries, we have been known for decades. For centuries, unbeknown to mankind, we lived among them, we survived the plague, we fought in the civil war, and we forged our life in this world, the first ones telling down the generations that if we wanted peace, we would have to remain quiet, but as we became more different, as our ability to hide it weakened, we finally told them...
At first, there was disbelief. We were insane, people couldn't be shifter's, could they? Then, the three eldest, three siblings, so similar, yet so different. Anastasia, known to be so good, so pure, Jasper, careful to pick his way out of everything, and Cedric, who knew the darkness and so befriended it. They looked so young to the humans, they seemed to not be older than their twenties, thirties even, and yet they had nearly a century under their belts. So, without warning, they were taken to a facility on their own will, none expecting the torture they endured there. Anastasia broke, Jasper collapsed, Cedric snapped- the three fled, and for another good decade, nothing was heard of them- although, much was heard of the Felidae.
The gruesome experiments continued so vilely within the labratory walls, and those who knew, didn't seem to care. This, however quickly caused an uprising- no Felidae would stand down to watch their children taken, their parents slaughtered for "science". For a decade, this happened, those who tried to stop it, fell- and so the Ancients returned, forming a band of Felidae who, as one fighting mass, overran the lab, and evacuated it, leaving it to be the empty shell it now is in the woods. However, in this battle, three sides were seen, each with fluxing levels within them. The ancients, siblings once bound by a secret, now had no secret to hide from the human world, and fighting by each other's sides, they saw pieces of brother's, of a sister, they so disagreed with. They broke apart, wanting little to do with the others- and so the Felidae did the same. Some looked to Anastasia for guidance, other's to Jasper for peace, and those darker in heart turned to Cedric, to embrace the irrational hatred of darkness... and this could only lead to more conflicts. Through civilized manners, however, they agreed to leave each other be, to each their own.
But this mayhem, is life as we know it;
The ancients, Anastasia and Cedric have hidden themselves away, hoping that, without their influence, the Felidae will forget the old ways of good and evil, and live by Jasper's ever calm neutral, but that cannot be the case, and so the two must return, for by far, things have become to hectic in these modern times. The humans and feline have never quite come to terms with the Felidae, but now, the shifter's have no idea where to turn, as their ranks turn up dead. More and more Felidae are turning up dead- and no one is sure why. The police only somewhat involve themselves, they're not to keen on trying to let the mutated species flourish, and as more humans begin to turn their noses away from the Felidae, many wonder if it is the humans themselves killing the species. Are they murdering the young and old? Are they kidnapping the full grown? What are those scientists flocking to Seattle for? Is this the labratory all over again? Or is something more sinister lurking within their buildings, waiting to pounce...?
As even the Felidae turn against each other over goodness, evil, and neutrality, their brethren die, and hose conflicts aren't helping their falling numbers. How on Earth will this dying species save themselves if they can't find the strength to band together and find the cause of these mysterious murders? Which race can they trust, if either?
